Finish & Materials

In general we are building a brick and flint house in the main section with a weatherboard finish for the lean-to section all under red reclaimed pantiles.

Flint

The planners have stated that "the flints to be used on the dwelling hereby permitted shall be grey in colour and graded to a maximum size of 125mm when measured in any one direction."

We intend to lay the flints in courses.

Bricks

Originally the planners had confirmed we could use Terca Kassandra Multi bricks but we changed our mind and have now received confirmation that we may use Bovingdon Berry Multi bricks.

Roof

Red reclaimed traditional pantiles.

Weatherboard

Hardie Plank cladding in Cobble Stone with a 'select cedarmill' texture has been approved by NNDC.

Windows

The colour finish to the windows is RAL 7016M IF which has been approved by NNDC. This is a matt anthracite grey.
